CONQUERING DISEASE: THE CURE IS OUT THERE & WITHIN

London2 031cropped.jpgLet me be blunt.  I'm not a doctor, but I believe that 99% of diseases can be conquered.  The solution is out there; rest assured that somebody, somewhere, has found it.  That individual may or may not know what he/she has discovered, but someone has found the answer.  That individual is probably not some pharmaceutical company with a new synthetic drug, either.

(If you have tried everything, be sure to try a naturopathic physician).

I suspect that someone, somewhere, has conquered the ailment that you may be facing.  That is why I am consistently excited by the communication channels that arise each day -- notably the blogosphere -- empowering just about anyone to have a voice, and share their story.  As individuals, we must be empowered to find our own solutions -- we cannot rely solely on our doctors for our health.  American medicine is strong when it comes to emergency surgery and imminent, life-threatening problems but when it comes to treating basic ailments and sickness, our system is severely flawed.  It is driven by economics and special interests.  To presume that a synthetic drug is the best solution is dangerous thinking and has contributed to more deaths than you can imagine.  Hundreds of thousands of Americans die each year due to conventional medicine and FDA-approved prescription drugs.  Click on the following link to see a study will open your eyes to this reality:

Death By Medicine

This is a tough topic, because much of the medical school curriculum revolves around pharmaceutical drugs -- a result of capitalism taking priority over good practice.  It certainly is not the fault of doctors that the system is flawed, but the statistics do not lie.  Drugs may save lives, but at a very high cost -- and often at the exclusion of better, safer alternatives.   Surely there is a better way?!  Funny that doctors only receive nominal training when it comes to nutrition (granted they are not nutritionists) -- but it is amazing that the majority of disease is caused by just that!  Of course, you won't find the pharma companies preaching prevention through nutrition in the hundred of millions they spend on direct-to-consumer marketing.  Rather, you will find a barrage of new diseases to scare you into asking for a pill.  Consequently, the American public has been mentally conditioned to believe that a pill is the answer to their ailments.  It usually is not.  Ask a naturopathic physician.

It fascinates me that the leading cause of disease is the food we eat -- we may not see the effects tomorrow or next year, but over time the effects are undeniable.  We are poisoning ourselves from the foods we eat and the toxins we take into our body each day through things like hair dye, cleaning solutions, radiation, car emissions, and even water.  Yes, all these things take a toll over time.  If I was suffering from a chronic disease, this is the first place that I would look.  I would eliminate these toxins from my life and look into detoxification programs that can literally flush these toxins out of your body in a matter of weeks!  I would reestablish balance in my body so that its amazing resiliency has a chance to take affect.  I sure as hell would not be getting chemotherapy and blasting my body with radiation.  But that is just me & and these are just my opinions.  But it is certainly worth exploring, don't you think?

For people interested in good information on alternative health, I would check out News Target -- this site can actually change your life.  Check out some of the free E-books that they offer there through Truth Publishing.

Another component to healing is your thinking pattern.  It has been consistently proven that the psychosomatic (mind-over-body) effect or placebo effect is very real.  Our thoughts impact our health in a very direct way.  If you consistently focus on your disease out of fear or any negative emotion, you are impeding your ability to get better.  There are a lot of techniques for handling this including autosuggestion, NLP, meditation etc.  Do not dismiss this one -- it is critical.  In fact, new studies have come out in Japan demonstrating how our thoughts have a powerful, measurable effect on water molecules (which, funny enough, compose most of our body!)  For more info on this fascinating topic, check out Hadolife.  If this doesn't blow your mind, you are one tough crowd!

Anyway, the information provided here is a starting point for curing almost any disease.

1.  Make it a mission to find your cure -- the solution is most likely out there somewhere.  Find it.

2.  Synthetic pills/chemicals may not be the answer -- they will likely treat the symptoms, and not the cause -- and often at great cost.

3.  You are what you eat.  If you are diseased, you likely have toxins, metals and host of other poisons built up in your body from over the years.  Look into detoxification as a starting point.

4.  The body can heal itself when we allow it to, and when we provide it with an environment that is conducive to this.

5.  Change your thinking patterns.  Eradicate negative emotions associated with your condition, and adopt a mentality of gratitude, belief and hope.

Best of luck on your journey!
