THE LAW OF ATTRACTION - THOUGHTS BECOME THINGS

Law-of-Attraction.pngIt consistently amazes me how we are engulfed by energy zipping around us -- radiation, light, heat and oh yes, THOUGHTS.  Much of this energy is imperceptible to our eye sight but can be measured by other means. 

What I find most intriguing is how our thoughts radiate outwards, impacting our environment and our interactions with others.  They affect our body and our health.  Surprisingly, people often dismiss this notion.  They will readily agree that a cell phone is radiating invisible waves of energy that impact the environment, yet they will have difficulty grasping the concept that the human brain, which is infinitely more complex, does the same thing.  And yet, we see it every day.  We see it in people overcoming diseases, in experiments with the placebo effect, we see it in quantum physics experiments with electrons, and we even see it in studies done on water molecules.  Thoughts appear to affect our environment and every cell in our bodies, for better or worse -- depending upon how we control them.

As amazing and awe inspiring as this is, I find that few people take the time to consider this.  

And yet, it is one of the most important things that we can ever learn.  By altering our thought patterns we can alter reality, little-by-little.  Napoleon Hill is famous for his book Think and Grow Rich in which he describes these laws; he spent a great deal of his lifetime interviewing the most successful people of the time and discovering their secrets.   Guess what?  They lived by certain principle that they unquestionably attributed to their good fortune in life.  It was the power of thought & belief, implemented through tools like autosuggestion that was their greatest secret.  These rules do not merely apply to business, they can apply to anything.  They apply to healing the body, for instance.  This is why the best healing programs include a spiritual and psychological component to the healing regimen.

The basic premise of the law of attraction is as such:

Ask, Believe, Take Action & Receive 

Start with a list of things about which you have gratitude.  In other words, live with an 'attitude of gratitude.'  This is the first step in putting yourself in the right frequency for the laws of attraction to take hold.  Steve Pavlina has an awesome article on his blog about gratitude, and how it relates to the law of attraction.   

Next, you must visualize yourself achieving your objectives or goals.  You must actually make yourself feel as if you have already accomplished or received the things you seek.  When you visualize, be sure to put emotion behind it.  Emotion is a powerful force.

Finally, release it to the universe, because the universe will respond over time -- if you hold firm to the laws.  It is all about consistency, implementation, belief and gratitude.  When done right, the universe finds a way to make it happen.  Do this every day for as long as it takes.

Open yourself up to possibility & watch the magic unfold.
