The Meaning of Personal Legend

For me, finding (and living) one’s personal legend refers to identifying and living the life purpose for which we were born to live. 

By life purpose, I am not referring to a specific set of circumstances that we are intended to create or discover, but rather a certain consciousness that we have chosen to assume prior to entering this life.  It is our destiny.  Working with this consciousness molds the way we think, the decisions we make and the fears we face.  Most likely, we will first live the inverse of this life purpose until we learn that this fights against our very nature.  In time, if we are fortunate, we will surrender to this life purpose. 

When we learn to embrace our personal legend (life purpose) and work with it in a positive way, we are able to share our great gift to the world.  To embrace the consciousness that is our life purpose (and the lessons along the way) is to play our part in the great stage play of life.
